The Historic Mobile Preservation Society is dedicated to enhancing the education of university students through its internship program. We have partnerships with the University of South Alabama, Spring Hill College and the University of Mobile. Our internship projects vary each semester and are concentrated in the following areas:

 

• exhibit research and design

• historical research 

• collections management

• tourism development

• public relations

• development and fundraising

 

Our internships are highly competitive. Any interested student must have a professor recommendation. Noncredit internships are available with a small stipend, occasionally. All interns are expected to work at least 10 hours a week, and available Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9am-3pm.
